Can the late summer weather get any better?

It’s a fine morning to throw on a sweatshirt and sit on the beach with a steaming cup of coffee!
High pressure will remain firmly in control through Saturday. It looks like today’s the pick of the week: brilliant sunshine, highs around 70 at the coast (around 75 inland), and a light northwest wind becoming southwest during the afternoon. The conditions tomorrow will be similar, but it will be a bit warmer and the humidity will rise slightly.
For the weekend, Saturday will still be nice, although there is a chance of a shower or thunderstorm during the afternoon and evening hours. A cold front will pass through Sunday, when it will be generally overcast with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Not a washout!
BOAT/BEACH: I’ll be sitting in my beach chair. Sunny, highs around 70, and a light west wind becoming southwest during the afternoon. Breakers about three to four feet and swells are around three feet. The water has cooled slightly into the upper 60s. With a moderate risk of rip currents, exercise extreme caution.
