Building a winter bond in Delaware through chocolate
As you ponder this latest snow storm it is worth looking back at a weekend event in Rehoboth now in its 24th year.
Three thousand people took advantage of temperatures reaching into the 50’s. The pending storm didn’t deter their love for chocolate that came in all shapes and sizes. People spent four hours inside the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center sampling the delicacies on display.
You could enter a chocolate dish for free. Those who wanted a taste only needed to pay a $2.00 admission and 50 cents a taste, but they could taste as much as they wanted. The problem was you couldn’t take home samples.
