Three lanes of the highway will be closed Saturday and early Sunday while repairs to the bridge over the Christina River are completed.

Three lanes of southbound I-95 in Delaware will be closed starting at 6 p.m. Saturday evening as workers patch portions of the bridge decking over the Christina River. The bridge is just south of the Rt. 141 and the salt barn in the center of the highway.

The two right lanes will remain open during the construction which is expected to last until 9 a.m. Sunday.

DelDOT warns drivers to expect delays on southbound I-95 as well as on the southbound sides of I-295 and I-495.
