The Baltimore Avenue Business Association (BABA) launched its first website this month. The site is intended to enhance BABA’s digital presence and make the organization more visible.

According to West Philly Local, the new site will include a list of known businesses within BABA’s territory, a calendar of events, special promotions, a member-maintained blog and local business and community news.

BABA is a member organization aimed at supporting businesses along Baltimore Avenue, between 40th and 52nd streets and one block north and south of the corridor. The organization was revived six years ago and has held group, business and community meetings since. So far the organization has dealt with issues like parking and outdoor table licenses.

The new website (babawestphilly.org) is intended to take BABA’s efforts to the next level.
