Author tells of how former congressman helped broker peace in Ireland

A former Connecticut congressman is credited with efforts to end decades of enmity between England and Ireland. This unsung hero is the focus of “Peacerunner: The True Story of How an Ex-Congressman Helped End the Centuries of War in Ireland.”

Author Penn Rhodeen joined NewsWorks Tonight’s Dave Heller ahead of his book readings in the Philadelphia area to discuss how Bruce Morrison made his plan to end bloodshed in Ireland a reality.
