Fantastic Fridays @ Penn Treaty Park

Friday, August 3, 6:30pm. Penn Treaty Park, 1199 N. Delaware Avenue. Free Friday night concerts return to Penn Treaty Park this month, beginning with the Sensational Soul Cruisers, a classic soul ensemble complete with an 11-horn combo. Bring a picnic and plan to stick around after the concert to see the fireworks from Penn’s Landing at around 9:15pm. Free.

Apps for SEPTA

Saturday, August 4 and Sunday, August 5, starting at 9am daily. Devnuts, 908 N. 3rd St. Devnuts and SEPTA have joined forces for another hackathon to build apps powered by SEPTA data and APIs. Use your power to transform the transit user experience! $5 ticket in advance.

2nd Street Festival

Sunday, August 5, noon-10pm. 2nd Street between Germantown Avenue and Green Street. The Philadelphia Folksong Society has curated four stages of music and events for this big, long NoLibs block party. Music, games, vendors, beer gardens, and creative workshops all for free.
