Under the Stars Rooftop Movie: Raiders of the Lost Ark

 

 

A film by Steven Spielberg. Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) is no ordinary archeologist. When we first see him, he is somewhere in the Peruvian jungle in 1936, running a booby-trapped gauntlet (complete with an over-sized rolling boulder) to fetch a solid-gold idol. He loses this artifact to his chief rival, a French archeologist named Belloq (Paul Freeman), who then prepares to kill our hero. ShopRite Parking Deck (Christina Crossing), August 28th, 7:30 P.M.

First State Heritage Park Walking Tours

 

 

Join us at the First State Heritage Park for free walking tours of The Dover Green led by historical interpreters in period dress! Monday through Saturday, tours begin at the John Bell House (43 The Green) and are offered every hour beginning at 10:00 a.m. Reservations are not required, the last tours leaves at 3:00 p.m. August 24th and 31st, 8:30 P.M.

First State Ballet

 

 

First State Ballet Theatre is Delaware’s professional ballet company. Enjoy an enchanting performance by this  professional company of bright young dancers performing under the artistic direction of Kirov-trained Pasha Kambalov. The Freeman Stage at Bayside, August 30th, 7 P.M.
