Arrest made in Manayunk double-shooting

Police have arrested 28-year-old Clifton Morris in association with an early September shooting in Manayunk. 

The incident occured at 1:20 a.m. on Sept. 9 as two males — 35 and 36 years old — were leaving the Grape Room Bar. They were shot at multiple times while they were walking to their car on the 4300 block of Cresson Street. 

One of the complaintants was critically injured after being shot in the chest three times. 

The suspects fled in an unknown direction after the shooting.

Morris was arrested on Monday after police recieved several anonymous tips linking him to the shooting. He is from the 2600 block of Emily Street. 

Morris is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and related offenses.
