Phoenixville home decor store to relocate in Chestnut Hill

Hipster Home plans to relocate its Phoenixville, PA. store to Chestnut Hill this September. Hipster Home is struggling at its current location and its owners Dave Friday and Lindsay Herman say they hope Chestnut Hill will be a better fit for them.

“If we want to stay viable then we need to expand our client base and move into a more retail centric area. We feel Chestnut Hill and the proximity to downtown Philly gives us this opportunity,” the owners wrote on their store’s blog.

Hipster Home will open at 8236 Germantown Avenue across the street from the Chestnut Hill Hotel.

In May, Hipster Home was named one of Home Accents Today’s “50 Retail Stars for 2011.”
