5th Police District: Man assaulted with brass knuckles on Domino Lane

January 9, 2011

5700 block Ridge Ave. – 15″ laptop and laptop case were stolen from Roxborough Hospital between 6 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.

300 block Lodge Road – jewelry and $250 worth of change stolen from the property.

January 10, 2011

6400 block Ridge Ave. – complainant said a male offender punched him in the face while the two were inside a school at the location. The offender was arrested.

6800 block Lawnton St. – 1999 Honda Civic stolen. Complainant said the car contained a Dell laptop computer.

January 11, 2011

7900 block Ridge Ave. – complainant said two men robbed him after punching him in the mouth. Offenders ran off with complainant’s North Face vest. That item was later recovered. One of the offenders was arrested.

January 13, 2011

5500 block Houghton St. – DeWalt grinder and two steel weight test kits were stolen from a 2011 Ford.

400 block Domino Lane – a man was assaulted with brass knuckles outside of a restaurant at the location. The offender was arrested. Complainant was taken to the hospital. 

January 14, 2011

300 block Leverington Ave. – complainant said three men stole her Dell laptop and iPhone.

500 block Seville St. – 1997 Honda Civic stolen between 9 p.m. Jan. 13 and 12:30 a.m. Jan. 14.

January 15, 2011

5600 block Ridge Ave. – complainant said that a taxi cab driver pointed a gun at her and told her to exit the car after dropping her off at the location. She said she originally asked for a ride to Long Island, N.Y. She said the cabbie agreed, but instead drove her to New Jersey before returning to Philadelphia. He then demanded to be paid the $200 fare that was agreed upon. The driver forced the complainant from the cab at the location after collecting the fare.

January 16, 2011

4300 block Main St. – 2007 BMW X5 stolen. Complainant said the car contained a cell phone, headphones and several credit cards.

January 17, 2011

4200 block Main St. / Roxborough Ave. – radio was stolen from a 2006 Chrysler 300 between 7-10 p.m. 

4800 block Umbria St. – three pairs of eyeglasses and two CDs were stolen from a 2009 Honda Accord between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. 

January 18, 2011

5000 block Ridge Ave. – Louis Vuitton purse, $1500, Chanel sunglasses and a diamond bracelet were stolen from a 2002 Cadillac Escalade between 12:10-12:55 p.m. on Jan. 18.

7900 block Henry Ave. – 55″ Samsung TV, 55″ Sharp TV, two DVD players, medication and a stun gun were stolen from the property.

400 block Flamingo St. – 2006 Suzuki ATV stolen from the property between 12-7 a.m. on Jan. 16.
