4400 block Cresson St. – complainant said two men jumped him at the location. One of the offenders pushed him. The other cut him on his right index finger with a box cutter. The men ran off with a six-pack of Busch beer and a pack of Newport cigarettes. Complainant was taken to the hospital where he received stitches.

June 20, 2011

100 block Markle St. – a woman was murdered. Police at the scene found the offender, her husband, covered in blood and the complainant inside the property with a gunshot wound to the left side of her face. Police placed the man in custody.

4900 block Umbria St.  – catalytic converter was stolen from a 1996 Toyota Tacoma parked in a SEPTA lot. Complainant said he knew something was wrong when he heard a noise coming from the engine area while driving. Complainant said a mechanic later pointed out that the item was missing from the car.

June 21, 2011

4300 block Main St. – 100 pairs of jeans were stolen from a clothing store at the location. The business’ owner said he received a call from the alarm company at 3:36 a.m. June 21.

700 block Wises Mill Road – 350 pound metal gate stolen from the location between 2 p.m. June 20 and 8 a.m. June 21.

6900 block Valley Ave. – two flat screen TVs, Xbox, computer, DVD player and several DVDs were stolen from the property.

June 22, 2011

4000 block Cresson St. – Two cars were broken into between 7 p.m. June 21 and 9:10 a.m. June 22, including a 2011 Dodge Nitro and a 2005 Toyota Highlander. TomTom GPS, GPS charger, iPhone charger and a computer bag containing a text book were stolen.

8700 block Ridge Ave. – Sony Playstation, four games, Comcast converter box, Flyers jersey and groceries were stolen from the property between 9 and 11:30 p.m. June 22.

800 block Grakyn Lane – 2000 Nissan was set on fire. Complainant said an unknown offender took papers from her glove compartment and lit them inside the car.

June 23, 2011

5900 block Ridge Ave. – a man was arrested after shoplifting from Acme market. Complainant, an assistant manager, said the offender tossed various deodorants in a white bag and left the store without paying. The offender then caught a Route 9 SEPTA bus. Police pulled over the bus, identified the offender and made the arrest.

7900 block Ridge Ave. – Magellan GPS system and $306 stolen from a 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue between 8:30 p.m. June 21 and 3:30 a.m. June 22.

June 24, 2011

100 block Kalos St. – 42” Phillips TV, Coach purse and a Fossil watch stolen from the property between 6:45 a.m. June 21 and 7 p.m. June 25.

June 26, 2011

400 block Cinnaminson St. / Mitchell St. – complainant said that an unknown male offender approached her from behind and attempted to grab her hand. Complainant said she dropped $25, which the offender picked up before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported.

6700 block Ridge Ave. – complainant said an unknown offender burst into his apartment while he was home and stole various medications. Complainant said the man was armed with a knife and mace, which the offender sprayed in his face. Offender fled the apartment afterwards.
