100 block Gay St. – 2000 Honda Civic stolen between 11 p.m. Jan. 30 and 6 a.m. Jan. 31

200 block Hermitage St. – four chrome rims and four tires stolen from a 2010 Audi.

Feb. 1, 2011

5600 block Ridge Ave. – 2006 Ford E250 stolen. Complainant said he left the car running while he ran into 7-Eleven for a coffee. When he came out, the vehicle was gone. The work van contained three ladders and various tools.

300 block Ripka St. – Complainant said someone lunged at him with a steak knife and pushed him down the stairs. The incident occurred after the two were involved in a verbal argument in the complainant’s kitchen. Complainant did not report any injuries and refused to go to the Northwest Detectives Division because of babysitting issues.

Feb. 2, 2011

6800 block Ridge Ave. – cell phone stolen and recovered. Complainant said someone stole her phone while inside “Bressler Dental Office”. A security video showed the offender in action. The offender later admitted to taking the phone and was arrested.

Feb. 3, 2011

5800 block Henry Ave. – cash register, hair clippers and a rifle were stolen from John Anthony’s Style Shoppe. Complainant, owner, said someone ripped off the security gate on the side door and entered the shop.

Feb. 4, 2011

100 block Jamestown Ave. – welding and various power tools stolen from the property. Complainant said someone stole the items from a rented garage. It’s unclear how the offender gained entry. Complainant did get a call from his landlord saying he was replacing the garage’s doors.

6100 block Ridge Ave. – two iPod Touch devices and an iPod case stolen from Roma’s Pizza. Complainant said someone stole the items from her sister’s jacket while they were inside the shop.

Feb. 5, 2011

500 block Dupont St. – snow blower was stolen, but recovered. Complainant said he saw someone take the item from his backyard. When the offender saw the complainant, he fled, but dumped it soon afterwards and continued running.

4400 block Main St. – complainant said someone struck her in the face with a glass object while she was at “Kildaire’s Bar”. The complainant went to the hospital and received six stitches to her left cheek. The offender was arrested and taken to the Northwest Detectives Division.

8500 block Henry Avenue – various shoes and clothing stolen, but recovered from Kohl’s Department Store. Store security observed the offender attempting to leave the store with the items without paying. The offender was detained until police arrived and made an arrest.

Feb. 6, 2011

400 block Leverington Ave. – Droid cell phone stolen from the property. Complainant said she put the phone on a table at “McGillacutty’s Bar” and later discovered in was gone.

Feb. 8, 2011

100 block Parker Ave. – two TVs, HP laptop, Xbox and a Nintendo Wii stolen from the property. Complainant said the items were taken from a third floor bedroom.

Feb. 9, 2011

400 block Dupont St. – complainant said someone put a gun to his head and threatened to kill him. No injuries were reported. Police stopped the offender and placed him into custody. No weapon was found and the offender was never charged because the complainant never showed up at the Northwest Detectives Division.

Feb. 10, 2011

500 block Gerhard St. – Smith and Wesson firearm stolen. Complainant said someone took the gun from a bedroom closet. She said she last saw it three months ago.

Feb. 12, 2011

3900 block Manayunk Ave. – goalie glove and two leg pads stolen. Complainant said someone stole the items from a table on his deck. He said the complex has video surveillance but the tape was unavailable at the time.

700 block Ivins Road – $12 in change, two sets of keys, two phone chargers, Blockbuster card and a GPS stolen from three different cars. The vehicles are a: 1999 Jeep Cherokee, 2008 Honda Civic and a 2002 Chrysler Town & Country.

Feb. 13, 2011

4800 block Pechin St. – Pioneer Stereo face plate stolen from a 2000 Jeep.

100 block Ripka St. – complainant said he sustained a broken nose and was taken to the hospital after he blacked out in front of a bar where a few known adversaries were present. Complainant said he is not clear what happened after he blacked out.

7000 block Crease Lane – Xbox 360 and several games stolen from the property. Complainant said several men forced their way into her home and attacked his friends who were other at the house. Complainant’s son had an earlier altercation with one of the offenders. Complainant asked the men to leave the residence. The offenders left the residence with the items.
