Celebrate the sounds of the season with the Philadelphia Orchestra at their annual Kids Spectacular! Sing along to your favorite tunes and enjoy a special visitor from the North Pole. Tickets start at $20, 11:30 a.m.
Discover the beautiful historic mansions of Fairmount Park during fun-filled tours! Enjoy refreshments and special events at each house and take free trolley rides between houses at your leisure.Tickets are $5 per home tour, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Trolley rides are free.
Saturday: Peace Around the World Celebration
Explore holiday traditions from all over the world at the 20th Annual Peace Around the World Celebration! The Penn Museum is offering free, family friendly, cultural programs and activities all day for free from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday: Barnes Free First Sundays
Don’t miss all the Barnes Foundation Museum has to offer for free! The acclaimed museum will feature unforgettable musical performances and fun hands on activities throughout the day. Free tickets are limited, available starting at 9 a.m. on site. Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday & Monday: Chanukah Extravaganza
Celebrate the holiday at Moving Arts of Mt. Airy with Chanukah crafts and baking from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and then a 5:30 p.m. Menorah lighting with latkes, songs and dreidels. Sunday is the Outdoor Menorah Lighting in Chestnut Hill with songs, dancing, chocolate gelt and hot cider. 6:30 p.m. at the corner of Germantown Avenue and Cresheim Valley Drive.
