Saturday: Day of the Dead/Dia de los Muertos
The Penn Museum will host a celebration for the Day of the Dead on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Families will be treated to music and dance, puppetry and storytelling, arts and crafts, and of course, an altar competition.
Saturday: Harvest kitchen tour in Chestnut Hill
The Center for Enrichment is hosting its third annual fall tour of Chestnut Hill’s spectacular home kitchens from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Enjoy cooking demonstrations, conversation and tastings from some of the neighborhood’s most talented chefs and caterers. Tickets are4 f $35; $40 day-of.
Saturday & Sunday: Live Mermaids at Camden Aquarium
From Nov. 1 to 9, the world-famous Mermaids of Weeki Wachee Springs, Florida are swimming up the coast to delight their land-lubbing friends. These mermaids swim with sharks, sting rays & giant turtles. Catch the daily mermaid performances, meet and greets, and even attend a mermaid and pirate ball!
