39th Police District: Where police badges get stolen

This list covers Feb. 3 – Feb. 9.

Feb. 3, 2012

3000 block W. School House Lane – Two Adidas sweatsuits, cable box and a 13-inch TV stolen from the property.

400 block W. Stafford St. – Complainant said two men robbed him while he was delivering food at the location. Offenders pushed the complainant onto his car and then grabbed $1,500 from his pockets.

2300 block W. Hunting Park Ave. – Complainant said a known offender hit her in the left side of her head with a bat. Police reported no signs of an injury. Complainant has a restraining order against the defendant.

2900 block N. Croskey St. – 2001 Pontiac Bonneville stolen.

Feb. 4, 2012

3300 block Conrad St. – Dell laptop stolen from a 1998 Nissan Maxima.

5500 block Wayne Ave. – Complainant said her co-worker grabbed a knife and threatened to kill her.

100 block W. Sylvania St. – Complainant a known offender came to his house, pulled a handgun on him and said, “I should kill you.” The incident was allegedly was sparked by an issue with a tax return.

5200 block Newhall St. – Complainant said a man robbed him at the location. Offender pushed him to the ground and kicked him before taking his wallet. Offender ran off with $100.

3500 block Bowman St. – Complainant said that a man followed him outside and beat him. Complainant was taken to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

2600 block Roberts Ave. – 32-inch Toshiba flat-screen TV stolen from the property.

1900 block Rowan St. – Complainant said a man shot at his mother’s vehicle while he was inside. There were no reported injuries. Five other complainants were in the car at the time and also made reports.

Feb. 5, 2012

1500 block Rowan St. – Central-air conditioner stolen from the property.

5500 block Wayne Ave. – Complainant said three offenders — two women and a man — robbed her at the location. One of the offenders punched her in the right side of her face and took her purse containing $60, an iPhone and a police officer’s badge.

1800 block W. Tioga St. – Panasonic TV, men’s suit and a pair of sneakers were stolen from the property.

3000 block N. 25th St. – TV, VCR, Nintendo DS, video games, gold jewelry, fur coat, laptop and $200 stolen from the property.

2700 block W. Cambria St. – Complainant said she was raped by a known acquaintance.

2200 block W. Allegheny Ave. – Complainant said that a man cut his forehead with a knife. Complainant was drunk at the time.

Feb. 6, 2012

100 block W. Sylvania St. – 1998 Chevy Blazer stolen.

4200 block Henry Ave. – Bluetooth device, GPS and an iPod were stolen from a 2002 Jeep and a 2009 Jeep Cherokee wagon.

4200 block Wissahickon Ave. – Complainant said someone stole his iPhone 4, wallet and keys in a locker room at the location.

3200 block N. 15th St. – Complainant said his ex-girlfriend pulled a knife out and threatened to stab him if he didn’t give her a ride home.

600 block Rittenhouse St. – Metal pipes stolen from the property.

Feb. 7, 2012

5500 block Wayne Ave. – Complainant said someone snatched his iPhone from his hand while he was riding on the bus.

4800 block Greene St. – Jeans, varsity football jacket, car registration, two GPS devices and various IDs were stolen from two cars at the location.

3900 block Smedley St. – Complainant said a known offender stabbed him with a hunting knife during a dispute. Offender was arrested.

5000 block Wissahickon Ave. – 2000 Lincoln Continental stolen.

Feb. 8, 2012

2900 block N. Bonsall St. – Complainant said she was raped by a known acquaintance.

3600 block N. Gratz St. – Two men robbed two complainants at gunpoint at the location. Offenders ran off with house keys, car keys and a cell phone.

3900 block Elser St. – Handgun stolen from the property.

2800 block N. 22nd St. – Complainant said his girlfriend stabbed him with a pair of scissors.

Feb. 9, 2012

5200 block W. Hansberry St. – A man was murdered. Complainant was involved in a physical dispute. One of the offenders pulled out a gun and shot the complainant multiple times. Complainant was pronounced dead at 1:44 a.m.

3300 block N. Uber St. – Copper pipes were stolen from the property.

2700 block N. Croskey St. – Laptop, circular saw, two nail guns, router saws and a power drill were stolen from the property.

2500 block W. Silver St. – A man kicked a woman. Complainant was unconscious when police arrived. Complainant was taken to the hospital where she is listed in stable condition.
