2200 block W. Clearfield St. – Combination safe, HP laptop, security system, surveillance camera, ATM machine and $6700 stolen from the property. Manager and co-owner of the store said the place was closed and secure. Complainant said there was heavy damage to a side entrance and that the gate surrounding that door had bolt lock pads cut.
2300 W. Indiana Ave. – complainant said she was raped early on Dec. 3. She refused to give any more information.
2200 block W. Lehigh Ave. – complainant said her boyfriend raped her following an argument the two had in his car. Complainant said he began to hit her in the face and stomach during the dispute. When she followed him into his home after he took her cell phone, he forced her to have sexual intercourse.
Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011
300 block W. Queen Ln. – complainant said a stray bullet hit his left arm while he was out on his balcony. Complainant was taken to the hospital and was listed in stable condition.
3500 block N. 19th St. – Xbox accessories, two pairs of UGG boots, a 19” TV, two smart phones, two cameras and more were stolen from the property. Complainant said someone likely broke in through a rear door between 10 p.m. Dec. 31 and 3 a.m. Jan.1.
2900 block N. Broad St. – A wallet containing $200 and a pair of Lug boots were stolen from a truck between 1-5:30 p.m. Jan.1.
2900 block N. Stillman St. – complainant said someone stole cash from the register at his father’s store. He said someone had also tampered with the ATM machine.
N. 23rd St. / W. Indiana Ave. – complainant said her boyfriend and an acquaintance punched her in the face after a dispute over money. Complainant was 34 weeks pregnant.
Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011
4900 block Knox St. – Dell laptop, pre-Revolutionary War silverware, golf clubs, iPod, two TVs, various jewelry and more stolen from the property. Complainant said her family was on vacation between 11:30 a.m. Dec. 18 and 6:50 p.m. Jan. 2. When they returned home, they found a kitchen door had been forced open.
3600 block N. 15th St. – complainant said someone came to his home and threatened him with a handgun. The offender fled the scene on foot. The complainant said his daughter had previously fought with the offender’s sister.
4400 block N. Chadwick St. – complainant said his wife scratched him and threw a bottle at him during a dispute over his whereabouts. The woman was arrested and taken to the Northwest Detectives Division.
2700 block W. Somerset St. – complainant said her daughter’s boyfriend punched her in the face after a dispute concerning the relationship. The complainant was taken to the hospital where she received stitches.
Monday, Jan. 3, 2011
4800 block Wayne Ave. – complainant said someone pointed his handgun at her during a dispute inside a bar. Complainant said she was calling the police. The offender fled the scene.
100 block Manheim St. – flat screen TV, DVD player, leather jacket and a pair of boots stolen from the property. Complainant said he locked and left his apartment around 9 a.m. Jan. 1. When he returned two days later, the items were missing. A fellow tenant told the complainant he let his ex-girlfriend and some friends into the building and that he may have seen them leaving with the stolen goods.
600 block W. Rittenhouse St. – 2001 Chevy Tahoe stolen.
100 block Apsley St. – Black & Decker charger, Romex table, Miter saw, 10 gallons of paint and more stolen from the property. The house is currently vacant and under renovation.
4400 block N. 19th St. – 1994 Honda Civic stolen. Complainant said he was delivering food at the time and had left the car running when someone jumped in and drove off.
3200 block Fox St. – various computers and three monitors were stolen from the property between 4:30 p.m. Dec. 30 and 7:30 a.m. Jan. 3.
3000 block N. Carlisle St. – six baseboard radiators and copper pipes stolen from the property between Nov. 25 and Jan. 3. Complainant noticed the items were missing when he returned after being evicted to clean the place.
2900 block Chalmers Ave. – 1992 Ford Taurus stolen between 10 a.m and 12 p.m. Jan. 3.

5500 block Morris St. – three baseball bats, 21 hockey sticks and sneakers stolen from a 1999 Jeep between 12:30 – 2:30 a.m. Jan. 4.
1900 block W. Bristol St. – laptop, radio components and a few sweatshirts were stolen from a Verizon work vehicle around 12:30 p.m. Jan. 3. Complainant said he was at the location to hook up a phone line and had been going back and forth between the home and his car. Complainant said the truck was locked, but someone pushed a small window open and unlocked the car.
4200 block Wissahickon Ave. – complainant said someone stole items from an unsecured locker located in a community locker area at the Kroc Center. Keys, a black pea coat, school uniform, blue messenger bag and a pair of jeans were stolen.
1600 block Dounton St. – complainant said an acquaintance hit her in the head with a candlestick holder and a glass picture frame. Offender was arrested and taken to the Northwest Detectives Division.
1600 block W. Glenwood Ave. – complainant said a fellow rooming house resident broke into the locked bathroom with a butter knife and began fighting her. The offender also bit the her left cheek. Complainant was taken to the hospital. The offender was arrested and taken to the hospital.
3100 block N. Chadwick St. – MasterCard, cell phone and house keys were stolen from the property. Complainant said she woke up to find the items and her boyfriend gone.

5000 block Newhall St. – 1997 Chevy Suburban stolen between 12:45 a.m. Jan. 4 and 5:30 p.m. Jan. 5.
3900 block Elser St. – 1999 Pontiac Grand Am stolen between 10 a.m. Jan. 4 and 1 p.m. Jan. 5. Complainant said he took the vehicle to the location to get the car repaired. The vehicle was left outside the shop with the keys inside.
3200 block N. Broad St. – offender walked up to teller around 12:30 p.m. Jan. 5 handed her a note that demanded she give him $1000. The teller handed over $280 in an envelope. The offender fled afterwards. No weapon was seen.
4200 block N. 15th St. – complainant said two women attacked her while inside a bar. Complainant was taken to the hospital where she received seven stitches to her right cheek.
2100 block W. Ontario St. – 1990 Honda Accord stolen between 3 p.m. Jan.1 and 3 p.m. the next day.
3100 block N. 24th St. – 1999 Chrysler 300M stolen. Complainant said he had left the car to warm up for five minutes when the car was taken.
2200 block W. Allegheny Ave. – heater, amplifier, pipes stolen from the property between 11 a.m. Dec. 24 and 1:30 p.m. Jan. 2. Property had been vacant for two months.
2900 block N. Chalmers St. – complainant said her friend raped her in the backseat of his car after a physical altercation. The two were parked in front of a bar at the time. The offender was later arrested on Lehigh Ave. and positively identified by the complainant, who was taken to the Special Victims Unit.

4400 block N. Gratz St. – 1999 Pontiac Grand Am stolen between 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. Dec.6
1700 block W. Hunting Park Ave. – complainant said two men grabbed him from behind in a bear hug, punched him in the back and attempted to steal his wallet. The incident took place at Simon Gratz High School.
1900 block Dennine St. – complainant said a man approached him and robbed him at gunpoint. Offender fled the scene. Complainant refused to go to the Northwest Detectives Division.
1700 block W. Erie Ave. – 2001 Mitsubishi Galant stolen between 5:30 p.m. Jan. 5 and 12 p.m. Jan.6.
3400 block N. 23rd St. – two handguns and a jewelry box containing diamond earrings, a necklace and several watches were stolen. Complainant said a window in the front bedroom was open and the room was in disarray. A witness said she saw a man standing outside the complainant’s house after she saw him getting into a burgundy Buick. Another witness said she saw a man running with a red jewelry box with gloved hands.
2800 block N. Stillman St. – Flat screen TV, Playstation game system, Sony video camera, diamond earrings and a gold chain were stolen from the property.
