June 17, 2011

3900 block Elser St. – complainant said a male offender stabbed her twice in the left hand with a pair of scissors as he tried to enter the property. Offender fled the scene after threatening to kill the complainant.

1500 block W. Venango St. – two rims and two tires stolen from a 2010 Toyota Venza between 2:54-3:24 a.m.

June 18, 2011

3500 block N. 16th St. – GPS and a digital camera stolen from a 2005 Ford Escape.

3500 block N. Carlisle St. – work bag, SEPTA tickets and perfume stolen from a car between 2:50-4:05 p.m.

1500 block W. Allegheny Ave. – complainant said he was robbed at gunpoint. Offender fled on a bike with a Cricket cell phone and $45.

2200 block W. Allegheny Ave. – complainant said someone stayed inside the business when they closed at stole $1200.

June 19, 2011

1900 block Brunner St. – complainant told police her sister punched her in the face and later threatened to kill her after grabbing a black case containing a shotgun. Offender was arrested.

3400 block Midvale Ave. – a pair of prescription glasses and $12 was stolen from a 2003 Hyundai Accent between 10 p.m. June 17 and 10:30 a.m. June 19.

1600 block W. Tioga St. – satellite navigation system stolen from a 1998 Volkswagen between 12 a.m. June 18 and 5:30 p.m. June 19.

4400 block Wayne Ave. –50” flat screen TVs and two 32” flat screen TVs were stolen from the property.

3400 block N. Carlisle St. – GPS stolen from a 2007 Mazda between 1-6:15 p.m. June 19.

4200 block N. Hicks St. – 1986 Chevy Caprice stolen.

4400 block Germantown Ave. – complainant said four male offenders struck him several times in the face and body with a black pipe. Offenders fled the scene with $17. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

1600 block W. Butler St. – GPS stolen from a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder between 10 p.m. June 18 and 7:45 a.m. June 19.

3500 block N. 19th St. – 1999 Ford Crown Victoria stolen between 10 p.m. June 17 and 10 a.m. June 18.

1500 block W. Lehigh Ave. – complainant said her husband cut her right palm with a utility knife during a physical altercation. Offender was arrested.

1600 block Allegheny Ave. – complainant said three women punched her and stole her purse. The bag contained a wallet with $450, a state ID and a Visa debit card.

June 20, 2011

3500 block Conrad St. – 2009 Toyota Prius stolen between 1-4 p.m. June 20.

4200 block Wissahickon Ave. – 1993 Chevy Suburban stolen between 7 a.m. June 18 and 7 a.m. June 20.

1800 block W. Ontario St. – ID and $600 stolen from the property.

1900 block Dennie St. – a man was murdered. Police responded to call of gunshots at the location. Upon arriving they found the complainant on the front porch and unresponsive. Complaiant was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 12:25 a.m.

4200 block Wissahickon Ave. – T-Mobile cell phone stolen from the property. Complaiant said she left the item in her gym bag that she placed in a locker at the location.

2700 block N. 17th St. – complainant said a man mugged her. She said the offender grabbed her from behind, pushed her against a wall and pushed an unknown object against her back. He then told her to, “give me your bag.” The offender ran off with a pocketbook containing a wallet, an ID and a McDonald’s hat.

3300 block N. 21st St. – black wallet containing an ID and $400, DVD player with surround sound and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from the property. Complainant said the items were taken between 10-11:30 p.m. June 18.

June 21, 2011

200 block W. Clapier St. – complainant said he was hit in the front and back of the head with a rock and a wooden cane. He said six men had approached him on his porch moments before the attack. Complainant said one of the offenders went into his pockets and stole his T-Mobile cell phone and $125. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

5000 block Tacoma St. – 2011 Nissan Altima stolen between 3-3:30 a.m. June 21. Complainant said he rented the car.

400 block W. Price St. – Sony Erickson cell phone stolen from a 1998 Honda CRV between 6 p.m. June 20 and 6 a.m. June 21.

100 block W. Queen Lane – complainant said a man fired his handgun at her and her daughter. Complainant said the offender approached her after she got off the bus and said, “Now I got a victim”. She said she and her daughter fled and the man fired as ran away. The offender was later identified and arrested.

2700 block N. Taylor St. – dishes, silverware and kitchen appliances were stolen from the property.

2200 block W. Allegheny Ave. – LG Optimus cell phone stolen from a car. Complainant said he got out of his car to pump gas with his phone charging on the front passenger side seat. He said he left the door unlocked.

3000 block N. 15th St. – complainant said a known offender hit him in the left forearm with a wooden post with nails. Offender was arrested. Complainant went to the hospital.

2900 block N. 25th St. – 32” television, Dell computer, Playstation 3 and a Wii system stolen from the property between 7:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. June 21.

1500 block W. Lehigh Ave. – 32” Sony television, 14” Sony laptop, $250 and a leather purse containing a driver’s license, credit cards, an apartment key and car keys were stolen from the property. Complainant said an unknown offender entered her apartment and took the items while she was sleeping.

June 22, 2011

5200 block Pulaski Ave. – complainant said a known offender pointed a handgun at him. Offender was arrested.

600 block Rittenhouse St. – complainant said his girlfriend picked up an unknown weapon and stabbed him in his left hand. Offender fled. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

5200 block Pulaski Ave. – complainant said an unknown offender hit him in the head with a bat. He said another offender kicked and punched him as the fell to the ground. Both offenders fled on foot.

4000 block Ridge Ave. – GE washing machine and dryer were stolen from the property between Jan. 4 and June 22.

1800 block Hunting Park Ave. – 30 cartons of cigarettes stolen from a car.

1400 block W. Erie Ave. – wallet containing $300 was stolen from a 2007 Honda Sonata between 10:30-11:00 p.m. June 17.

June 23, 2011

4900 block Knox St. – two cars were broken into, including a 2006 Jeep Cherokee and a 2005 Chevy Equinox. Sunglasses, iPod and iPhone were stolen.

200 block W. Queen Lane – Complainant said $5,000 was stolen from the property between 8 a.m. June 20 and 8 p.m. June 23.

300 block W. Woodlawn St. – complainant said her ex-boyfriend punched her after she said she didn’t want to have sex with him. Offender was arrested.

4200 block N. Hicks St. – complainant said two offenders attacked her. She said one of her offenders hit her in the arm, back and leg with a bat and tased her in the head. She said the other offender also hit her in the back with a bat and bit her in the left arm.

4200 block N. Hicks St. – complainant said a woman hit her in the arm and leg with a bat while she was trying to break up a fight. Complainant said a second offender bit the complainant in the left shoulder. She said she was also tased several times.
