Communiversity is one of New Jersey’s largest annual street festivals. It’s a celebration of the good town-gown relations between Princeton Township and Princeton University. It is produced by the Arts Council of Princeton.

This year the event featured six music stages and more than 200 vendor booths that lined downtown Princeton. On campus, dozens of student clubs lined the walkways in front of Nassau Hall.

The festival kicked off with general remarks from Princeton University President Chris Eisgruber (Princeton Class of 83) and Princeton Mayor Liz Lempert, who also is a former producer for NPR’s Living On Earth program that airs on WHYY-FM Saturdays at 6 a.m.
