The 44th Annual Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival was held September 4-6, 2015 at the Salem County Fair Grounds in Woodstown, New Jersey. Located on Route 40 directly across the street from the Cow Town Rodeo there was plenty of space available for both tent and heavy camping.  In addition a flea market was on site as well as many craft and food vendors.

Concerts were performed on a single stage Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Some of the highlights of the three-day event were The Gibson Brothers, Hot Rize, Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys, Blue Highway and Marty Stuart.

In addition to the concerts there was plenty of children’s activities including a Musical Petting Zoo. Instruments of all kinds were available for children to pick up and try out.

The 6th Annual Kids Academy was also a big hit. For a $25 fee children spent quality time with instructors learning a song that they would perform on Sunday as an ensemble on stage.  Led by music director-banjo player Ira Gitlin and Philadelphia violinist Sarah Larson the children participated in both group and private instrument lessons.
