This after-hours event celebrates the last weeks of the exhibition Dream Streets: Art in Wilmington 1970–1990 and Delaware’s hip hop culture. Join us for an indoor/outdoor festival featuring throwback hip-hop and breakdancing performances by Street Xpressions Arts Organization, Inc. Celebrate the transition from summer into fall at Rockwood’s Faerie Fest! Put on your wings and enjoy games, stories, enchanted crafts, faerie and gnome parades, children’s museum tours, and a faerie house and gnome home contest. The day will also include food vendors, vendors selling faerie wares, and visits from special guests such as the Fairy Queen, the Tooth Fairy, Philip the Gnome, and other magical surprise guests! Stanton’s 4th Wall presents the Great Wall of Comedy: A Revue of Hilarious Proportions! Come relive some of your favorite comedy routines from classic television. The repertoire includes great skits from SNL, Abbott and Costello, Monty Python’s Flying Circus, I Love Lucy and many more channel surfing shows! Some material may not be appropriate for children. We’re excited to welcome Blue Hen Comedy, to the Smyrna Opera House as they present a curated evening of some of the most buzzed about up and coming comedians in the region. Content may not be appropriate for children. The show starts at 7:00 pm. Doors open at 6:15 pm. Tickets are $16 general admission and $14 for members, senior citizens, and military. CURB is a silent and live auction to raise money and awareness for head and neck cancer (HNC). Artists from all over the country created fine art by transforming radiation masks formerly worn by HNC patients to position and immobilize their heads during treatment. These unique masterpieces will be auctioned at the Gala. Money from mask sales and admissions will support HNC patients and survivors at Beebe’s Tunnel Cancer Center, Lewes, Delaware. 9114 HNC.org Rehoboth Art League.
