This calypso-flavoured re-telling of The Little Mermaid opens on a Caribbean island where villagers comfort a little girl with the story of the orphan Ti Moune, destined to love too much for the human heart to bear. Once On This Island delivers melody, love and joy in tropical abundance. The Everett Theatre, Middletown.

Get ready for the upcoming Star Wars invasion at the DCM, on Saturday, Sept. 5, by assembling your own spaceship (just like the ones your favorite characters have) using recycled materials! Afterwards, you can paint on the easels, explore the sensory bin, or tell an outer space story on the felt board. Delaware Children’s Museum, Wilmington.
