What was it like, on June 6, 1944, to ride the first troop transports onto the beaches, to land by parachute in the bocage, or to have to wait in England to find out if the mission had succeeded or failed? Join us at the Delaware Public Archives for this program and find out.

The Coastal Camera Club (CCC) of Sussex County is presenting their annual photography exhibit at the Nassau Valley Vineyard from from June 1 – June 30, 2014. On display here will be a wide variety CCC members’ excellent photographs, most of which will be for sale. On Saturday, June 8, there will be an artist’s reception from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with wine, beer, soft drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Nassau Valley Vineyard – Gallery One.

Bring your family, blanket or chairs to our free outdoor Summer Concert Series. Concerts are held on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm in the Milton Memorial Park in historic downtown Milton located on Chandler Street and the Broadkill River. No alcoholic beverages or smoking permitted. This week’s band plays 70’s Rock N Roll Music. This concert is sponsored by King’s Homemade Ice Cream and Comcast.
