200 pounds of food donated through Kevin Boyle’s Mayfair office

The end of 2012 brought many food, clothing and toy drives to help those in need around the Northeast.

The office of Rep. Kevin Boyle, D-172nd, shared this photo from his food drive. Residents in and around Mayfair donated more than 200 lbs. of food through Boyle’s district office on Frankford Avenue, which he then donated to the Feast of Justice Food Pantry.

In addition to the pantry run out of St. John’s Evangelical Church on Tyson Avenue, the organization “holds life-skills workshops; connects clients to other services; and urges them to advocate on policy issues through letter-writing campaigns and petitions.”
