Two workers injured in college garage collapse

Two workers have been taken to a hospital after two sections of a parking garage under construction collapsed at New Jersey’s William Paterson University.

Work on the project on the Wayne campus has stopped while officials wait for state inspectors.

University administration and finance vice president Stephen Bolyai tells The Record newspaper the fourth level of the five-level parking garage collapsed onto the third level Friday.

Bolyai says the two construction workers were conscious and alert.
