7700 block Ogontz Ave. – a 7-Eleven employee said a man entered the store and demanded money at point of a simulated weapon. Complainant said he chased the offender out of the business with a mop. No money was taken. The store has video surveillance.

June 29, 2011

7100 block Ogontz Ave. – complainant said three men approached him and stole his cell phone. He said one of the offenders asked to use the phone, and then ran off with it when the complainant handed it over.

6500 block Ross St. – 1985 Ford Econoline van stolen.

500 block Parnell Place – complainant said a known offender threw several punches at him and bit him on the right side of his face during a dispute. The offender was arrested.

6700 block E. Pleasant Place – complainant said her husband grabbed, dragged and punched her in face during a dispute. The offender took $450 before fleeing in a Mercedes Benz.

300 block W. Hortter St. – complainant said someone stole his puppy from the property between 10:50-11 a.m. June 29.

100 block Carpenter Lane – Dell netbook, laptop, Wii system, controllers, game and three jars of change were stolen from the property between 7:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. June 29.

5900 block Germantown Ave. – complainant said a known offender stole her iPod Touch from her bag while she was riding on a SEPTA Route 23 bus. Offender was arrested.

7100 block Germantown Ave. – bike stolen from the property. Complainant said the item was locked up outside of the apartment building.

 

June 30, 2011

1100 block Dorset St. – engagement ring and two wedding bands stolen from the property between 10 p.m. June 24 and 8:30 a.m. June 30.

E. Chelten Ave. / Ardleigh St. – Berso Thunder handgun with six live rounds stolen from a property. Complainant said he left the item in a gym bag while he was boxing at the location.

7100 block Louise St. – X-Box, Kinect game system, DVD player, radio receiver, two TVs, laptop and two cars stolen from the property. A 2008 Dodge Caliber and a 2007 Chevy Tahoe were stolen.

1800 block E. Tulpehocken St. – complainant said his son stabbed him in the upper arm and threw a trash can at him during a dispute concerning the offender’s drug use. Complainant was taken to the hospital. Offender was arrested.

5300 block Chew Ave. – Garmin GPS and charger stolen from a 2005 Lexus RX330 between 12-7:10 a.m. June 30.

700 block E. Rittenhouse St. – 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis stolen.

 

July 1, 2011

1700 block Wynsam St. – Yamaha Banshee All-terrain vehicle stolen from the property between 9 p.m. June 29 and 4 p.m. July 1. There were no signs of a forced entry.

900 block E. Sharpnack St. – 1992 Chrysler LeBaron stolen between 7:30 p.m. June 30 and 4:30 p.m. July 1.

5300 block Chew Ave. – T-Mobile MyTouch cell phone stolen from a T-Mobile store.

7800 block Provident St. – iPod and glasses were stolen from a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix.

600 block E. Stafford St. – 1996 Lincoln Town Car stolen. Complainant said the vehicle had three flat tires and no battery at the time.

200 block E. Upsal St. – complainant said a known offender raped her.

Crowson St. / Locust Ave. – complainant said someone pick-pocketed $300 from him after he took the cash out of an ATM machine.

7200 block Charlton St. – wallet, credit cards, cell phone and a Nikon camera were stolen from a 2005 Toyota Corolla.

9000 block Crefeld St. – bike stolen from an open garage between 9 a.m. June 30 and 8 a.m. July 1.

7900 block Stenton Ave. – Tom-Tom GPS stolen from a 2007 Nissan Murano.

 

July 2, 2011

7700 block Ogontz Ave. – a 7-Eleven employee said a man entered the store and demanded money at point of a simulated weapon. Complainant said he chased the offender out of the business with a mop. No money was taken. The store has video surveillance.

1400 block E. Duval St. – complainant said her son threw a cup of unknown cleaning fluid in her face during an argument. Complainant was taken to the hospital. She suffered burns and temporary blindness.

Unit block Collom St. – complainant said a known offender shot him in the right eye with a BB gun. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

5900 block Wayne Ave. – 2009 Dodge Charger stolen.

7200 block Germantown Ave. – six cartons of cigarettes stolen from a Wawa.

 

July 3, 2011

7900 block Thouron Ave. – complainant said that a known offender struck her numerous times in the face with a closed fist. Offender was arrested.

1000 block E. Hortter St. – complainant said a known offender pointed a gun at him and threatened to kill him. The offender then fled in a Dodge Durango.

1500 block Phil Ellena St. – 1990 Dodge Caravan stolen between 8 a.m. June 29 and 8 a.m. July 3.

5500 block Matthews St. – sneakers, 42″ TV, clothing and $1500 stolen from the property between 11:01 p.m. July 2 and 4:20 a.m. July 3.

7100 block Louise St. – three gold rings with diamonds, two gold necklaces, gold bracelet with diamonds and a pair of gold earrings with diamonds were stolen from the property. Complainant said she was on vacation at the time and that her son was the only one with access to the property.

300 block Collom St. – man arrested after police found him driving a 2010 Ford that had previously been reported stolen.

6100 block Belfield Ave. – complainant said he was shot in the right side of the face and right shoulder while outside of the location. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

Chew Ave. / E. Haines St. – 1996 Chevy K1500 stolen between 12 p.m. July 1 and 11 p.m. July 2.

400 block W. Walnut Lane – complainant said she was hit by a known offender. Complaint suffered a cut to her right eye.

100 block W. Rittenhouse St. – 1991 Cadillac Seville stolen.

Unit block W. Willow Grove Ave. – complainant said someone stole an area rug she had delivered to the property. She said she never received the package, but that FedEx told her it had been dropped off.

7000 block Stenton Ave. – 13″ Apple Macbook stolen. Complainant said a man ran off with the computer after he handed it to him. The offender had responded to a Craigslist ad the complainant had posted about the laptop.

 

Jul 4, 2011

1100 block E. Woodlawn St. – flat screen TV, Sony digital camera, microphone and $657 stolen from the property.

5200 block Rufe St. – 2000 Nissan Maxima stolen, but recovered prior to police report.

600 block High St. – Sony stereo, HP laptop computer and $80 stolen from the property between 12-7 a.m.

6900 block Cresheim Road – books, bag and a car phone stolen from a vehicle.

1000 block Kitchens Lane – glasses, two wallets, banks cards, credit cards, state ID and $220 stolen from a 2007 Toyota Camry.

Unit block E. Gorgas Lane – firearm stolen from the property.

 

July 5, 2011

5200 block Rufe St. – 2003 Nissan Murano set on fire. Police had previously recovered the car after it was reported stolen earlier in the day. The vehicle was not burned at that time. The incident was deemed arson.

7000 block Lincoln Drive – two computers and a computer bag stolen from the property.

W. Chelten Ave. / Greene St. – complainant said a man approached from behind and snatched her purse. The offender then fled the scene on foot.

Unit block Penn Court – 31.5″ Sanyo TV stolen from the property between 4 p.m. and 12 a.m. July 4. Complainant said a first floor air conditioner had been kicked in.
