Affordable Care Act update

February 21, 2014

With the March 31st deadline for purchasing health insurance just weeks away, it’s likely that the federal government will fall short of its goal of enrolling 7 million Americans in insurance plans. Under the new health care law, those without coverage will be subject to federal tax penalties. NPR’s Jeff Brady talks with DAVID GRANDE, assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and Drexel University professor ROBERT FIELD.
