New York Times wine critic Eric Asimov

[REBROADCAST] Are you comfortable choosing wine at a restaurant? Do you know a good value when buying a bottle in a store? Can you bring a red, white or bubbly to a party with confident vintage choice? The New York Times chief wine critic ERIC ASIMOV comes in to put our listeners at ease about what to drink during the holidays, make some suggestions of casual, home dinner pairings, and encourage us to drink, not taste wine. Asimov, known for his popular “$25 and Under” restaurant review column, now writes “The Pour,” a weekly column that appears in the Times’ Dining section. You can also find his musings on wine and other interests of beverages and food at the Diner’s Journal blog on the Times’ website. His new book is “How to Love Wine: A Memoir and Manifesto.”
