    While law enforcement personnel scoured San Bernardino, California, searching for shooters, young people across that city sheltered in place — in their schools. Lockdowns have become common practice for school children across the nation.

    Former teacher and Youth Radio reporter Robyn Gee takes us inside of a lockdown drill back in 2013, a short while after the Newtown, Connecticut shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary school.
