On Tuesday, Democrat Bonnie Watson Coleman prevailed at the polls in New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District, becoming the first woman elected to federal office in the Garden State in over a decade. In fact, she’ll be the only female representative of the three-state region in the next Congress.
