    Producer, composer, performer and curator of electronic music, King Britt, is throwing a cosmic celebration for a hero of his, Sun Ra, Friday night in Philadelphia.

    The Beautiful Noise: A Special Tribute to Sun Ra is the first of a series of events to be held at Fringe Arts, curated by Britt and fellow artist, Kate Watson-Wallace.

    Britt sat down with NewsWorks Tonight host Dave Heller to talk about his upcoming series and how Sun Ra’s Afro-futurist jazz influenced him as an artist.
