What is the prize?
The contest runs on Saturday October 25, 2025 from 8am until 11am. When you donate, you’ll be entered into the contest for a chance to be one of three lucky winners of a Passero’s Coffee “Best of Philly” package that includes chocolates, cookies and coffee from local Philadelphia businesses.
How am I entered to win? Where can I enter to win?
You’ll be automatically entered to win when you donate online at WHYY.org/radio or by phone at 1-888-345-9499. Eligible entrants must provide their name, address, email address and phone number as part of their donation, or by entering their information on https://forms.gle/ebUXPNPTmvQ4TtyR9 for free entry. Incomplete entries will not be eligible to win.
What are the exact details?
Donate on Saturday, October 25, 2025 between 8am and 11am and be entered for a chance to be the winner one of three lucky winners of a Passero’s Coffee “Best of Philly” package that includes chocolates, cookies and coffee from local Philadelphia businesses. Do I need to make a gift to enter?
No, but we hope you will enter by donating online at WHYY.org/radio. If you’d prefer to enter without donating, please fill out the form at https://forms.gle/ebUXPNPTmvQ4TtyR9 .
How many entries are permitted per person?
One entry per household is allowed. Donate online at WHYY.org/radio to be automatically entered.
How many total entries will be allowed? What are the odds of winning?
The odds of winning one or more prizes will depend on the number of entrants. We will not set a limit on the total number of entries allowed.
How will the winner be selected?
The winner will be selected randomly on site at WHYY Studios in Philadelphia on Saturday, October 25th during our live broadcast. We will notify the winner directly. Winners need not be present to win.
How will the winner be notified?
WHYY will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner using information provided on the winning entry form. This contact will be by phone and/or email. WHYY will not award a prize if the winner (a) was ineligible to participate, (b) provided materially false or misleading information to WHYY, or (c) if participating or receiving a prize is prohibited with respect to such person pursuant to these Rules or Applicable Law.
Why are you collecting so much personal information? Isn’t email address enough?

If I win, will I be required to pay any taxes based on the value of the prize?
Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. Prize has a fair market value of $53.
Are WHYY Sustainers automatically entered?
WHYY Sustainers are not automatically entered to win. They may enter by making an additional donation or upgrading their monthly donation level at WHYY.org/radio or calling member services to enter without donating.
Who is eligible to enter?
To be eligible to enter, you must (a) be at least 18 years old at the time of purchase, (b) be a U.S. resident physically residing in the United States or District of Columbia, and (c) not be precluded by Applicable Law from holding participating. Enter online by donating at WHYY.org/radio.
WHYY employees, board members and their households may not enter and are not eligible to win a prize.
