Listen

Guest: Susan Morse

Philadelphia writer Susan Morse was looking forward to having time to write, visit with friends and spend time with her husband now that her two youngest children were leaving for college. But things didn’t go as planned when she fell in love with a retired greyhound who quickly took over the house and her life. In her new memoir The Dog Stays in the Picture: Life Lessons from a Rescued Greyhound, Morse chronicles how she adjusted to this new stage of life with the help of an anxious and loving companion, the family’s new dog, Lilly.
