Where to eat in Philly right now, Low Cut Connie’s rock & roll, stars of Hamilton

The food scene in Philly goes way beyond hoagies and cheesesteaks. We’re also home to James Beard award winners, rising young chefs, and thousands of delicious hole-in-the-wall restaurants waiting to be discovered. A recent undertaking at The Philadelphia Inquirer is a guide to the 76 most essential places to eat in our area, and we’ll count down some of the best, with food critic Craig Laban.

We’ll hear from Adam Weiner, the frontman for cult-favorite Philly band Low Cut Connie. A documentary from earlier this year followed members of the group as they supported their passion for rock and roll with blood, sweat, tears and some pretty odd jobs.

We’ll listen back to Cherri Gregg’s interview with the mega-talented stars of the hit musical Hamilton, which recently came to Philadelphia through Ensemble Arts.
