We all remember the wicked step mothers depicted in the fairy tales, Snow White and Hansel and Gretel. In fact the words wicked and step mother tend to go hand in hand not just in fiction but in real life. But the reality of being a step mother is much more complicated. Our guest, WEDNESDAY MARTIN is a step mother and takes on that negative stereotype in her new book, “Stepmonster: a New Look at Why Real Stepmothers Think, Feel and Act the Way We Do.” Wednesday Martin is a contributor to the NY Post’s parenting page and joins us as we get ready for Mother’s Day on Sunday.
