The Wailers

Reggae music has never stopped evolving, but for millions of people, it’s still defined by the songs of Bob Marley and the Wailers which originally formed in 1969 and sold in excess of 250 million albums worldwide.  Aston “Family Man” Barrett, anchor of the band, and original member, uses his old school know-how as he carries on the leadership of the Wailers.  Their heartbeat rhythms have inspired so much of what’s followed since, as evidenced by the “one-drop” reggae sound. Hits such as “Stir It Up” and “Get Up, Stand Up” define the Rastafarian way of peace, love and unity.
