Understanding and dismantling stereotypes about Jews and money

Until recently, historians have been reluctant to talk about the roots of Jewish economic life for fear that such research would fuel anti-semitism. Today, we talk with two scholars about the role of Jews in commerce. Their work has been the topic of a year-long project at the University of Pennsylvania where they are both visiting scholars.
