The Great wage slowdown; net neutrality update

Listen

Guests: David Leonhardt, Jon Brodkin

For most middle class Americans, wages have remained stagnant and disposable income has declined. Employers haven’t been raising salaries and taxes have increased. In a recent article in the New York Times, DAVID LEONHARDT explored the policies and politics that have created what he calls the “great wage slowdown” and what Washington might do to reverse the trend. Then, we switch gears for the final segment and discuss President Obama’s recent statement regarding so-called “net neutrality.” To help us get up to speed on the situation, we’re joined by JON BRODKIN, senior IT reporter for Ars Technica.
