The dropout rate for Philadelphia’s black and Latino males has reached devastating proportions. Fifty-one percent of Latino boys and 43 percent of black male students fail to finish high school in six years.  JOHNNY IRIZARRY, a member of Philadelphia’s School Reform Commision, and Temple University professor JAMES EARL DAVIS join Marty to talk about.  Both were members of the SRC’s Task Force charged with evaluating and addressing the crisis.
