Still Alzheimer’s

Julianne Moore received an Oscar for her portrayal of a woman with Alzheimer’s in the movie, Still Alice, but what about daily life for the 5 million diagnosed with the disease?

We talk with Michael Ellenbogen who not only has been living with early-onset dementia, but also plays an active role in educating the public about issues affecting patients and their families. He’s working with Abington Hospital to train medical personnel to understand what a dementia patient faces just doing simple tasks. And, we’ll speak with Dr. Gerald Hansen about medical care.
