Spring has arrived!

Let’s celebrate the arrival of Spring, but how do we come to this date? It occurs in our orbit around the sun when we arrive at a particular point, which is the first day of Spring. This marks the half way point between winter and summer or the Vernal Equinox. Next up is the Summer Solstice. But for those of us in the Southern Hemisphere this point marks the coming of Winter. Considering the devastating earth quake in the news can earthquakes take place on other planets? Are the frequency of earthquakes on our planet diminishing or strengthening?
