Service Dogs and Wounded Warriors

Listen

Guests: Ashley O’Hara, David Burry, and Kevin Brackney

[From the Radio Times archive] In this hour of Radio Times, we have a discussion about wounded warriors and service dogs, inspired by Cathy Scott’s and Clay Myers’ new book, Unconditional Honor: Wounded Warriors and Their Dogs. We’re joined by ASHLEY O’HARA and DAVID BURRY of PAWS Training Centers in West Chester, Pa. and KEVIN BRACKNEY, veteran and currently a Presidential Management Fellow at the Delaware Commission of Veterans Affairs. O’Hara and Burry, a daughter-father duo who train services dogs in our area, talk about their personal experiences with the dogs, and we hear from Brackney about how his service dog Nyma has impacted his life.
