Salman Rushdie

    This week novelist Salman Rushdie received knighthood from the Queen of England at Buckingham Palace. Rushdie talks with Marty about his latest book, “The Enchantress of Florence.” Rushdie is author of nine previous novels including The Satanic Verses, Midnight’s Children (for which he won the Booker Prize), Fury, and Shalimar the Clown. He is co-editor of Mirrorwork, and anthology of contemporary Indian writing.
