On this week’s regional roundup: We’ll hear about how Democratic Party heavyweights in Camden County, New Jersey use “phantom candidates” in order to confuse voters who are interested in voting for more legitimate challengers to the “democratic machine.” MATT FRIEDMAN of POLITICO joins us. Then, Pennsylvania Auditor General EUGENE DePASQUALE joins us to talk about the backlog of rape kits that the state has not yet tested, and will update us on the progress of getting them processed. Lastly, we’ll discuss “Victoria’s Law,” a bill that was just introduced into the Pennsylvania legislature that would curtail abusive breeding practices often employed by so-called “puppy mills.” State Senator ANDY DINNIMAN, who introduced the bill will join us.
