Radio Times in Review: Esther Perel, Diane Ackerman and examining “Fifty Shades of Grey”

Listen

Guests: Esther Perel, Diane Ackeman, Debbie Herbenick, Tracy Clark-Flory

Today we have a special Valentine’s Day edition of our show. First, we’ll listen to Marty’s interview with psychotherapist and relationship counselor, ESTHER PEREL, about the secrets to sustaining a healthy and sexually active long-term relationship. And, we’ll listen back to Marty’s interview with DIANE ACKERMAN. The author and naturalist joined us in 2011 to discuss her book One Hundred Names for Love about caring for her husband after he had suffered from a stroke. We’ll also hear Marty’s conversation with sexual research scientist DEBBIE HERBENICK and Salon writer TRACY CLARK-FLORY about the erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey. The movie adaptation hits theaters tomorrow.
