On this week’s edition of Radio Times in Review: we’ll listen to Marty’s interview with climatologist JAMES HANSEN, whose 1988 congressional testimony was instrumental in creating widespread awareness of the dangers of global warming. He recently made more landmark statements at the UN summit on climate change. We’ll also hear from the late WANGARI MAATHAI, the Kenyan environmental activist who joined Marty in the studio back in 2006. Finally, we’ll revisit Marty’s conversation with television pioneer, NORMAN LEAR. The creator of such groundbreaking shows as “All in the Family,” “Maude,” and “The Jeffersons” is the subject of the upcoming documentary based on his memoir, Even This I Get to Experience?
