First, we’ll listen to a portion of Marty’s conversation with SARAH KAGAN, who won a MacArthur Fellowship more than a decade ago for her work analyzing the most effective practices in nursing and end-of-life care. We’ll also hear from psychologist ANGELA DUCKWORTH. She won a 2013 MacArthur Fellowship for her work examining the role that so-called ‘grit’ plays in determining achievement. Lastly, we’ll hear from Princeton University professor ANGUS DEATON who just won the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences for his research on poverty.
