Listen
Hour 1
In this week’s political roundup, we check in with political scientists and pollsters in the first three states where the much-debated Republican field of presidential candidates is put to a vote. Joining us from Iowa, which has its caucuses on January 3rd, is CAROLINE TOLBERT, University of Iowa professor of political science and co-author of this year’s book, “Why Iowa?” Then, we’ll hear about the race in New Hampshire, which has its primary January 10th, from ANDREW SMITH, professor of political science and director of the University of New Hampshire Survey Center. And we’ll finish up with Winthrop University political scientist SCOTT HUFFMON, who will brief us on the race in South Carolina, which sends voters to the primary polls on January 21st.
