Last week’s election shook up the Democratic Party as Republicans won a big majority in the Senate and more seats in the House. With full control of Congress, what does this mean for the GOP, the democrats and Obama’s last two years in office? Veteran political strategist MARK MCKINNON joins Marty to discuss the mid-term election results and how they could affect the run-up to 2016. McKinnon was the principal media advisor for George W. Bush and for John McCain’s presidential campaign. Since then he’s gone on to cofound No Labels, a non-profit organization dedicated to bipartisanship, and the Mayday PAC, a group that supports candidates for campaign finance reform, as well as co-chair the Texas branch of Freedom to Marry Campaign.
