Political roundup: Campaigns in DE, PA & NJ

We round up the campaigns in the three states of the Delaware Valley with a trio of journalists covering the races. WHYY Delaware reporter MARK EICHMANN will update us on the results of the Wilmington mayoral primary earlier this month, as well as the New Castle County executive and gubernatorial races in the First State. Then, we’ll hear from Philadelphia Inquirer politics reporter TOM FITZGERALD, who also writes the Inquirer’s Big Tent column and blog, about the Senate showdown between Democratic incumbent Bob Casey and Republican Tom Smith, as well as interesting Congressional contests in the Philly suburbs. And finally, we’ll speak with DARRYL ISHERWOOD, editor of PolitickerNJ.com, about the Senate race between Democratic incumbent Bob Menendez and Republican challenger Joe Kyrillos. And all of our guests will break down how the Presidential contest is shaping up in their state.
