Philadelphia Cell Phone Ban

Last Thursday, Philadelphia City Council passed a bill which bans hand-held cell phones for people using cars, skateboards, bicycles, skates and scooters. We discuss the ban, how it compares to legislation in other cities, and if it will make Philadelphia safer. Our guests are BILL GREEN, Councilman-at-large for Philadelphia. Along with Councilmen Rizzo and Greenlee, he sponsored the bill and JOSH SHAPIRO, Pennsylvania Representative for Montgomery County. He introduced legislation to ban the use of hand-held cell phones in the state of Pennsylvania. Listen to the mp3
